Quick Start

Get up and running with NexaDesk in under 5 minutes

Get your first AI chatbot live on your website in under 5 minutes. No coding required.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit chats.nexadesk.ai/signup and create your account. You will need:

  • A business email address
  • Your company name
  • A password (minimum 8 characters)

After signing up, verify your email address to activate your workspace.

Step 2: Create Your First Chatbot

  1. From the dashboard sidebar, navigate to Chatbots
  2. Click Create Chatbot
  3. Give your chatbot a name (e.g., "Sales Assistant")
  4. Choose a color theme that matches your brand
  5. Set a welcome message that greets visitors

Step 3: Train Your AI

The most important step — teaching your chatbot about your business:

  1. Go to Knowledge Base in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Source
  3. Enter your website URL — NexaDesk will crawl and index your pages automatically
  4. You can also upload PDF documents, paste text content, or add FAQ entries manually

Tip: Start with your homepage and key product pages. You can always add more content later.

Training typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on the amount of content.

Step 4: Embed the Widget

Add the NexaDesk chat widget to your website by pasting this script tag before the closing </body> tag:

Replace YOUR_CHATBOT_ID with the ID shown in your chatbot settings.

That is it. Your AI chatbot is now live and ready to answer visitor questions.

Step 5: Test It Out

  1. Visit your website and look for the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner
  2. Click it and ask a question about your business
  3. Check the Conversations tab in NexaDesk to see the chat history

What Happens Next

When visitors chat with your bot:

  • AI handles routine questions using your trained content
  • Leads are captured automatically from conversations
  • Complex queries can be escalated to a human agent
  • All conversations appear in your unified inbox
