CRM Pipeline
Track leads from first contact through conversion with the built-in CRM
NexaDesk includes a built-in CRM pipeline that captures leads from conversations and tracks them through your sales process. Every visitor who chats with your bot can become a lead with a single click.
Pipeline Stages
The default pipeline has six stages:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| New | Lead just created from a conversation or API |
| Qualified | Lead has been reviewed and shows potential |
| Assigned | Lead assigned to a sales representative |
| Contacted | Sales rep has made initial contact |
| Converted | Deal closed successfully |
| Lost | Lead did not convert |
Lead Properties
Each lead record includes:
- Name — Visitor's name as captured from chat
- Email — Contact email
- Phone — Phone number (optional)
- Company — Organization name
- Source — Where the lead came from (widget, WhatsApp, Messenger, API, manual)
- Pipeline Stage — Current position in your sales funnel
- Tags — Custom labels for filtering and organization
- Need Summary — AI-generated summary of what the visitor needs
- Expected Billing Amount — Estimated deal value
- Assigned Rep — Team member responsible for follow-up
Working with Leads
The CRM shows your pipeline as a drag-and-drop kanban board. Move leads between stages by dragging their cards. Each card shows the visitor's name, source, tags, and time since creation.
Switch to list view for bulk operations — filter by stage, source, or date range, then assign or update multiple leads at once.
Click a lead to see its full profile:
- Contact information and metadata
- Linked conversations (click to view the full chat history)
- Activity timeline with all stage changes and notes
- AI-generated conversation summary
Automatic Lead Capture
NexaDesk can create leads automatically when:
- A visitor provides their email during a conversation
- A conversation is marked as containing a qualified inquiry
- The chatbot detects purchase intent
Configure auto-capture rules under Settings > CRM > Lead Capture Rules.
API Access
The leads pipeline is fully accessible via the REST API. Create, update, and query leads programmatically. See API Reference: Leads for endpoints and examples.
